Sporadic email send problems

A problem at our hosting provider has resulted in sporadic failure to send emails (game reminders and the like) from HappyTC. :(

We’re in contact with our provider and hope to have the issue resolved shortly.

Further updates will be posted here as info becomes available.

Update, Apr 12, 20:40 ET: Our hosting provider reports the issue should now be resolved. :) It was result of a change to their hosting management software which caused the hourly limit on emails sent to be reduced. This resulted in failures to send when the cap was reached. (The cap has been restored to its former value which is sufficient to allow HappyTC volumes of email.)

Apologies to all affected by this irritation.

All systems “go”

This is the place to check for HappyTC system update notices.

Unless we’ve posted a notice indicating to the contrary, HappyTC and all its subsystems are believed to be up and running happily, and there are no planned down-times in the near future.

(If you spot anything that seems out of whack, please help us out by dropping us a line.)

(Yes, this post date shows 2007… means this post is up-to-date unless another post indicates otherwise! Nov. 27, 2007 happens to be the date HappyTC launched out of beta and took the world by storm.)
